Suppose you are Moumita and your friend is Nujhat. Now write a dialogue on how to eradicate illiteracy.(own)
Nujhat(My friend) : Hi Moumita! You seem tensed. Is there any problem?
Moumita(Myself) : No, Nujhat. I don’t have any personal problem. But I’m thinking about a great problem of our country.
Nujhat : What is it?
Moumita : It is our illiteracy problem. What’s your opinion?
Nujhat :It is a great problem as well as a curse for the country.
Moumita : I also think so.
Nujhat : without education no nation can develop. Actually ignorance creates many problems.
Moumita : What should we do then?
Nujhat : We should work hard unitedly to educate the illiterate.
Moumita: We also need to create people’s awareness so that they can send their
children to school.
Nujhat : Yes, of course. It’s the key factor. Our government has already taken
some steps to remove illiteracy.
Moumita : We must co-operate with the government.
Nujhat : Yes, we must come forward in this regard.
Moumita : But there are some people in our society who are very poor. They are unwilling to send their children to school owing to poverty.
Nujhat: Indeed! It’s quite so. To encourage the poor people to send their children to school, the government has also started ‘Food for Education’ program.
Moumita : Yes, it is an epoch-making step.
Nujhat : But the government and a few social activists alone cannot achieve any tangible success. Every educated personincluding students must come forward to educate the illiterate.
Moumita : Of course. To make the program a success we must co-operate with each other. What about the adults?
Nujhat: Government has already started night school program for them.
Moumita: it’s a good initiative. I think every student in their locality should help the illiterate to be acquainted with the 3 R’s.
Nujhat :Right you are. If we are sincere in our words and deeds, nothing is impossible.
Moumita : That’s right. Thank you.
Nujhat : Okay. See you again.
