My friend        : Hellow Rong, our JSC exam is over. Now we have to choose our future course of study and profession.

Myself            : Yes,Karima. You are right. I’ve decided to be a doctor. So I’ll study Biology and Chemistry at SSC level.

My friend        : Why do you want to be a doctor?

Myself            : I’ve some reasons behind choosing this profession. Firstly,I want to serve the poor helpless people who die without getting proper treatment. Secondly, medical science is very interesting to me. I want to know the systematic function of the human body.

My friend        : I see, but are these all the reasons for your becoming a doctor?

Myself            : No, at the same time, it is very lucrative profession. The money earned through this profession will enable me to fulfill my other dreams on humanitarian activities.

My friend        : I see, I am very pleased to hear about your future profession. But you haave to work hard to materialize this dream.

Myself           : You are right. I know present time is very competitive. To get chance in a medical college is very difficult. I must try my level best to get myself admitted to a medical college.

My friend        : And you should know that the medical course is also difficult.

Myself             : Yes, I’ve learnt about it from some of my senior brothers who are now studying in different medical colleges. Anyway, what is your aim?

My friend        : I want to be a computer engineer.

Myself            : But why?

My friend        : You know that we live in an age of science. Information and communication technology reigns everywhere.

Myself            : Make me understand, please.

My friend        : In medical sector, for diagnosing computer is must. A doctor cannot think of conducting  surgery without it. Computer is used in agriculture, space technology, weather forecast etc. In a word modern life is impossible without computer.
